In Sumy entrepreneurs studied psychology of effective business

On September 1-2, 2018 the intensive training “Psychology of effective business” was held in Sumy, organized by the NGO “Council of Young Scientists” on the basis of the Sumy Business Information Support Center, with a grant of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development within the initiative “EU4Business” of the European Union.

The training brought together business representatives – owners and top management of audit firms, real estate agencies, suppliers of agribusiness products, heads of hydraulic systems production and repair departments, directors of healthcare and beauty industries, and others.
The training was given by Svetlana Komissaruk – Professor of Social Psychology, Business Coach (Columbia University, New York, USA).
The main focus of the event was on competent work with objections, correct cooperation in conflict situations, fighting manipulations and psychological pressure, the ability to say “NO” and making informed decisions.
The participants of the training were interested in working in groups and developing techniques for the control of their own emotional state, methods of building business relationships and business reputation, developing techniques of active listening, criticism and persuasion.
The participants jointly discussed situations and considered mistakes in the process of building business relationships and ways to prevent them.
The test tasks that helped the trainer reveal the motivational focus of each participant in the process of perceiving themselves and the relationships around them were interesting.
The gained knowledge, forms and methods of practical psychology in the training can be applied in their practical activities to build relationships in their own company, with partners / clients and competitors.
