У монографії розглянуто низку проблем, які виникли в світі в зв’язку з поширенням вірусу COVID-19. Поаналізовані підходи урядів різних країн до стримування розповсюдження епідемій для стабілізації соціально-економічного становища. Автори дослідили економіко-математичні моделі, а також сценарії виходу держав з кризи, спричиненої високими показниками захворюваності на COVID-19 та карантинними заходами, та узагальнили особливості ряду моделей, які дають можливість спрогнозувати подальше поширення коронавірусу на його вплив та своєчасно ухвалювати ефективні управлінські рішення щодо протидії йому. Видання містить результати досліджень, виконаних у рамках виконання проєкту Національного фонду досліджень України «Економіко-математичне моделювання та прогнозування впливу COVID-19 на розвиток України у загальнонаціональному та регіональному контекстах: фактори громадського здоров’я та соціо-еколого-економічні детермінанти» (0120U104784).
