On November 30, 2018, more than 40 representatives of micro, small and medium-sized businesses, interested in implementing social entrepreneurship approaches, were brought together to participate the seminar «Social Entrepreneurship: New Opportunities for SMEs in Sumy Region.»
This event was organized by NGO «Council of Young Scientists» within the initiative EU4Business, aimed at developing small and medium-sized businesses in Ukraine, with a grant support from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
During the seminar the following issues were discussed:

Zinoviy Svereda, President of the Ukrainian Cooperative Alliance (Kyiv).
Anatoly Zosoba, President of the Ukrainian Association of Social Entrepreneurs (Kyiv).
Victoria Makerskaya, founder of Flower Shop “The Tree of Desires”, a graduate of the programs of the Ukrainian Social Academy and the School of Social Entrepreneurship in the United Kingdom (Sumy).
On-line – Kirill Nechepurenko, head of the social employment portal http://careerfornewlife.com/
Bohdan Mosunov, Member of the Coordinating Board of the National Small and Medium Business Platform, one of the initiators of creation of the educational program “Investments, Entrepreneurship and Startups” (Sumy).
The participants of the seminar noted that they received answers to their questions, discussed directions for implementation of social entrepreneurship in the Sumy region.
