Entrepreneurs and start-up consultants of Sumy, aiming to start business as an individual consultant, have taken part in a three-day training “Start Your Consulting Business”.
The training was organized by NGO “Council of Young Scientists” within the framework of the EU4Business initiative of the European Union grant from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
October 16-18, 2019 trainer Julia GAB, consultant practitioner and business trainer, provided quality tools for starting a consulting business and shared her experience. Julia worked in international corporations (in Ukraine, Switzerland, USA, Latin America) for 10 years. Since 2009 she has been advising, conducting trainings and teaching. During this time, she has had projects in more than 15 countries on three continents.
The main areas of expertise are: determination of priorities of the company’s business strategy, marketing management, brand building.
The course included acquaintance with the concept of business model as a modern planning tool, models of competencies of management consultants, analyzing their own knowledge, skills and experience, analysis and creation of major components of their own consulting businesses using the Canvas business model.
As a result of the training the participants received a model of their business and a business plan for professional development for 3 years.
