Sumy forum brought together project managers of leading IT companies in Sumy region

On June 30, 2018, the Congress Center of SSU was the “SUMY PM COMMUNITY” Forum, which was organized by the NGO “Young Scientists Council” with grant from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development under the EU4Business initiative of the European Union.

The “SUMY PM COMMUNITY” Forum which was called the “Sumy Project Managers Community as a Component of IT Business Development” brought together representatives of Sumy’s leading IT companies such as MindK, Brocoders, PortaOne, NetCracker, Apptimized and AMC Bridge, as well as representatives of SSU`s ELIT faculty. These are programmers, testers, designers, project managers and business owners.
The forum achieved its goal – to bring together different Sumy IT companies at one common platform to share experience, discuss problematic issues, develop a joint strategy for developing the IT sphere of the region, and create an IT cluster.
Within the forum, a practical workshop on Project Proposal was held by Karine Makaryan, product manager, business analyst at international IT company AlreadyOn (Oslo-Kyiv).
The event was moderated by Bogdan Gaydabrus, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Electronics and Information Technologies (ELIT) of SSU.

Studing, discussing problematic issues of the industry, motivating speakers and live communication – the forum was not only productive and useful, but also encouraged participants to further dialogue, develop a common strategy, create a true IT community.
