On October 10, 2018 the NGO “Council of Young Scientists” held a one-day webinar “Cost Management and Pricing for SMEs” for Sumy entrepreneurs on the basis of the Sumy Business Information Center. The event was organized with a grant from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development under the EU4Business initiative of the European Union.
The training was focused on business owners, top managers and heads of functional business units, economists and accountants of companies.
This training was held by the Business Information Support Center in Kyiv, but thanks to modern means of communication, all participants were able in online format:
– to review the role of cost management and financial accounting and their classification;
– to familiarize with the basic principles and methods of price policy;
– to provide simple and convenient decision-making tools based on margin analysis;
– to hear answers to questions that require a special, balanced decision.
The training was conducted by Yana Terekhova, managing partner of the School for Financial Managers; business coach; economist; entrepreneur.
The webinar gathered 40 participants from Sumy, including representatives from the medical industry, restaurant business, beauty industry, real estate agencies and others. (Accountants, economists, CFOs and managers, as well as wholesalers and retailers).
The webinar was held at the Congress Centre of SSU (Sumy, Pokrovskaya St., 9/1).
